John Wright

John is Relationship Audits' partner in Sydney Australia. His international career at Board and Client Service Director level in client relationship management spans leading advertising agencies JWT, Y&R, Ogilvy, Mojo and Campaign Palace in Australia, the UK and Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

In his roles in agency and client management he has:

  • Directed Qantas Airways advertising across 13 countries including the launch and implementation of the iconic "I still call Australia home" campaign, still running after 25 years.
  • Launched Jacob's Creek wine, the largest selling Australian wine brand worldwide.
  • Positioned and launched Cadbury's Wispa, the 5th most successful new UK food brand of the decade with sales of £30 million per annum.
  • Branded and successfully launched new courier system - the DHL Jumbo Box across the culturally diverse SE Asia market.
  • Re-positioned Gulf Air with a new look and rolled out a multi-media campaign and promotional material across 20 countries.
  • Introduced Daewoo with award winning campaigns resulting in it becoming the fastest growing brand in Australian automotive history.
  • Managed all the American Express Middle-East integrated communications and successfully launched Blue credit card.
  • Worked with blue chip clients Westpac, Foster's, Nestle and Coca-Cola.

John has a diploma in advertising from the University of South Australia, the Communications Advertising and Marketing Diploma (CAM) from the London College of Communication. He has contributed a section on managing international advertising to the book "Advertising Principles and Practice".


Kumar Vaidyanathan

Kumar has over 30 years experience in developing and implementing brand and customer relationship strategies.

Having started his career in Account Management, Kumar moved into account planning at Ogilvy in India where he developed his skills in brand management and strategy development. His career path took him into general management roles at leading agencies in India. He successfully introduced India's first retail management consultancy. In 1996, Kumar was transferred to London to help expand Bozell Worldwide's operations across Europe and the Middle East.

Since coming to Australia, Kumar's focus has been to effectively integrate brand strategy with customer relationship management. He has worked with some of Australia's most reputable organisations to ensure that the brand experience is dovetailed into business operations in order to deliver a consistent customer experience through various touch points. He calls this Rippleffect.

Kumar has lectured at leading business schools in India, and has written several articles on customer loyalty and brand effectiveness.

Kumar has the experience and the insight required to audit B2B relationships involving stakeholders at every level.
