Creston commissions RAM to help in the acquisition process by auditing the strength of the relationships that the target agency has with its clients. Clearly, if those relationships are not secure enough to withstand the change in ownership then the long term viability of the acquisition could be compromised.

This 'relationship diligence' activity is presented as a mandatory part of the acquisition process, as RAM's feedback will determine whether or not the deal will proceed. Those agencies that have been acquired are subsequently required to submit to an annual client relationship audit.

Furthermore, RAM's proprietary output and its status as an independent third party has also been used to underpin fund-raising activity with financial institutions.
