"What Relationship Audits & Management are doing for us breaks down into three categories for me.

The first thing they are doing is - giving some real thought leadership and credibility to the whole process of auditing relationships. They do this really well. That's all they do, and they're really good at it.

So - they're able to hit the ground running, and bring instant credibility to the sorts of clients they do this for around the world - you just can't argue with that.

My senior management were very comfortable when they were able to examine the guys at Relationship Audits & Management - you can just feel the quality.

The second thing they're doing is coaching and helping our own partners to do this, not quite as well as the guys at Relationship Audits, but certainly to a very high level. They've also helped us to be quite courageous and critical at understanding that not everybody has the skill set. So it's about being grown up and putting the right people into these roles.

The final thing they do is they go and audit personally some of our most important relationships - and experience so far is just fantastic! They get superb feedback from the client, they obtain real insight and we've used that to drive business results.

When you trade that off against the potential value - at least to my firm of a big client relationship - both protecting that, which runs into millions of pounds a year and if you can also grow it, which this process has definitely helped us to do, we've both got the protection of improving revenue streams and the ability to, if you like, broaden the services and broaden the relationship base with an organisation and the process so far it demonstrated amply in the business case perspective to do both."
